Software Introduction
This firmware is for use on DriveStation HD-CELU2 Series only. Do not apply this software to any other product.
Operating Environment
- Supported PC：DOS/V PC with Ethernet
- Supported OS：Windows Vista/XP/2000
- Supported Browser：InternetExplorer 5.0 or later
How to Update the Firmware
To update the firmware, DriveStation must be on the same network as your computer.
- Enable DriveStation's LAN mode. The DriveStation must be connected via LAN, not USB.
- Insert the Drive Station Navigator CD that came with your DriveStation. The Drive Station Navigator Wizard will launch automatically.
- Click [Options].
- Click [Browse settings page].
- The DriveStation will be automatically detected. Wait until the next screen appears.
- Click [Maintenance]
- Click [Browse] and select the firmware file [HD-CELU2_***]. Then click [Upload].
- Click [OK].
*After clicking [OK], the firmware update will start. During the update, DO NOT turn off your DriveStation, as this may cause the unit to malfunction.
- Click [OK].
- Manually turn off and restart the DriveStation
The firmware update is now complete.
The DriveStation will start in USB mode. Push the Mode button on the unit to change the setting as required.
How to Confirm the Current Firmware Version
Follow the below instruction to find which version of firmware is applied to your DriveStation.
- Repeat step1-5 and open Settings page.
- Click [System Status] and confirm the version of firmware.
※The latest firmware version is 1.4.7. If [BUF-CELU2-1.4.7 LOADER 3.5W1.9] is displayed on the screen, the latest firmware is updated successfully.

（Ver.1.4.7 is displayed as "BUF-CELU2-1.4.7 LOADER 3.5W1.9"in the web settings page.
【Extra function added】
- Under LAN mode, file access control has been improved.
When opening a Microsoft Office file, the file will automatically be changed to exclusive mode and other users cannot update it.

（Ver.1.4.3 is the default firmware applied to the DriveStation. "BUF-CELU2-1.4.3 LOADER 3.5W1.7" is displayed in the web settings page.
