If your unit’s firmware is already version 3.62 or later, you don’t need this update. [How to Verify the Firmware Version] Select your TeraStation from NAS Navigator2. The firmware version is displayed on the bottom right corner of the window. [Notes] • Make sure that the same language is configured for “Display language”, “Welcome screen and system accounts”, and system locale. Configuring different languages for these settings may cause unexpected behaviors. • Install the following updates before updating the firmware: KB2919442, KB2919355 • If Buffalo Dashboard displays a blank page after updating the firmware , install all available Windows updates and update .NET Framework to version 4.5.2 or later. • If Python is installed on your TeraStation, updating the firmware may fail. in such a case, uninstall Python and try again.
