How to Update

Connect the AirStation to the same subnet of your network as your PC. For best results, connect the AirStation directly to your PC with a LAN cable.

  1. Boot your PC.

  2. Confirm that the LAN adapter's and the AirStation's IP addresses are on the same network subnet. Refer to the AirStation's user manual for instructions on changing its IP address.

  3. Select Run from the Start Menu.
Enter "http://192.168.11.1/" (the AirStation's LAN-side IP address) into the field and click OK.

  4. Settings opens. Enter password and click Submit.

  5. The setup screen is displayed. Click System Settings from the side menu.

  6. Click Firmware.

  7. Click Upload & Check or Browse and select the firmware file. The filename should be "wxr1900dhpd-XXX.bin" (where "XXX" is the version number).
    Click Upgrade Firmware or Submit.

  8. During the firmware update, the power LED will blink for about 5 minutes. When the update is finished, the LED will turn off. Do not turn off the AirStation until the firmware update is finished. If the unit is unplugged while the power LED is still blinking, the AirStation may be damaged.

  9. Proceed to the next step.
